OPTIONAL PRE-BID SITE INSPECTION, WALK-THRU, PRE-BID INFORMATIONAL MEETING
June 10, 2025 – 3:00pm (PST)

SCOPE: The Port Angeles Middle School (Stevens Middle School) Modernization and Addition is the modernization of the existing 23,200SF gym building and a new ground up 84,7263SF 3- story middle school. Once the modernization and additions are complete the existing classroom building and portables will be abated and demolished followed by extensive site improvements. Upgrades and New Construction Include: 

Existing Gym

• Extensive seismic upgrades
• New MEP systems and equipment
• New roofing, new athletic bleachers, and upgraded interior athletic spaces/offices & finishes

New Classroom Building

• Learning spaces, admin offices, commons, MEP service rooms, music, library, and kitchen
• Extensive exterior canopy structure

Site

• Significant site clearing, earth movement, utilities, and site upgrades including bio-retention ponds 
• New service yard, parking, bus loop, outdoor learning areas, and commons/entry plazas
• ROW work at North Alley and D street

This work will occur during summer months and the school year(s) while the existing classroom building is fully occupied until the new classroom building is complete as well as phased occupancy of the existing gym and site.

Must comply with State of Washington prevailing wage requirements.
